I should make more intelligent comments, or just be quiet, shouldn't I?

Hecatomb: 1 : an ancient Greek and Roman sacrifice of 100 oxen or cattle
2 : the sacrifice or slaughter of many victims 3: A Dark Elemental-based monster set as a guardian for the lowest level of an Ancient's Tomb, to prevent access to the Ancient's Resting Place; they are resistant to most Elemental magic effects and are impervious to unenhanced weapons
